00. WARM-UP

Before playing Ultimate Frisbee, a proper warm-up is essential. Warming up helps increase muscle temperature, improve joint mobility, and prevent injuries while preparing your body for high-intensity running and throwing. We recommend 5-10 minutes of dynamic stretching and light jogging.

01. BACKHAND THROW

The most common throw. Grip with thumb on top, fingers curled under the rim. Stand sideways, reach back, and snap your wrist upon release to generate spin.

02. FOREHAND (FLICK)

A quicker, stealthier throw. Grip like a pistol with two fingers under the rim. Rely on a sharp wrist snap rather than arm movement. Keep the disc flat.

03. CATCHING

The safest catch is the 'Pancake Catch' (sandwiching the disc). Use this for chest-level throws. For high/low throws, use the 'Rim Catch' (Claw catch).
